Katrin Alberding

I stay in the room
when things get tough.

Founder and CEO who scaled a care-tech company to 1,000+ people and €60M+ raised — through the hypergrowth and the hard landing. Twenty years across M&A, strategy and building, from Citigroup to BCG. Now: applied AI, and helping the next generation thrive in a world that's AI-native by default.

What I do

The short version

Building companies is the work — and the interesting part is everything the plan doesn't cover: deciding without complete information, holding a team together under pressure, earning trust when the stakes are real.

On paper, it's a strategy CV — Citigroup, BCG, Harvard. It leaves out where the real learning happened: building from a blank page to 1,000 people, through the hypergrowth and the hard landing — the distance between a clean strategy deck and the Tuesday it has to hold up.

Today I'm building digital products at the intersection of applied AI and human storytelling — fascinated by how AI helps ordinary people do extraordinary things.
